I have had no problems at all with the P45's.
it also happened to me twice with UT P35. i killed 2 highclocker E8400. i thought it was the pll voltage together with a combination of high vtt voltage.
but this time is different. i dont change pll voltage at all. i just change the clockgen voltage to 3.85v, vtt to 1.38v, cpu gtl / nb gtl & fsb vref. i don't know what's wrong with my setiings @ 1.32vcore. my temps on stock intel cooler is around 34c on 533x7.5 1.31v
i don't think the cooler is the problem because i didn't reach dangerous level temps on that voltage.

do you think it's the bios?
i use beta LP45DB17 before it happened.
now i tried beta LP45D202 with E5200 while waiting for the replacent of E8400

thanks!
