Yeah. Best advice: return it and run like hell. There are plenty of reasons why. Just read around.

Personally I don't think MSI or GB will be much better. You could try EVGA but dunno how they perform.

I am scratching my head as to why you guys have so
much problems with this board and hate it so much.

I have the P6T non-deluxe, using the latest bios,
and running raid 0. Everything is working just fine.
It was the easiest install and overclock i have ever had.

I got mine at microcenter too for the same price, currently have my 920 at 200x20, linpack and prime stable, and that's with 12Gb of corsair @ 1600 9-8-8-22.

I even had to exchange the first P6T I got because it was missing the northbridge screws, but it ran at the same settings, also linpack and prime stable.

Don't know why anyone has issues with this board, been rock solid for me.

    P6T-D working fine for me - i7920 @ 195 x 20 for 3.9GHz with 12gb ram at 780MHz 9.9.9.24 and 4870x2 + 4870 1 GB TriXfire.

Raid 0 on 2 x 150gb Raptors and overclock profiles work fine. No double boot up with current overclock on either cold or warm boot. Bios 1102.

vcore - 1.31250v bios LLC enabled = 1.2960 idle in windows and 1.312 load in windows.

IOH and CPU Clock Skews set to 100

    Dram - 1.62v

    QPI/DRAM (QPI/VTT) - 1.32500v

    CPUPLL - 1.84v

    ICH - 1.2v

    IOH - 1.14v

all other volts set to stock not auto.

First boot up I left all volts on auto, loaded windows at stock clocks then checked in TurboV utility to see what volts the bios was setting for stock on auto.

Bumped to 20 x 195 and set ram speeds manually but left timings on auto and all volts on auto to see what the bios was setting for that overclock. Auto volts were fairly high - vcore was 1.4, QPI was 1.375 can't remember the rest hehe. Anyway I managed to get them all down to what I'm using now.

Ran LinX with maximum amount of ram to test with 15 passes, took nearly 4 hours and was solid. Ran Prime95 Large FFT (large FFT has proved to be a better test of stabillity than small FFT or blend, blend and small may pass for ages but large FFT will show instability before the other tests will) and it was solid for 8 hours, repeated same tests over and over and all seemed fine. Seemed stable......played some games and they kept stopping with the message "such and such game.exe" has stopped working and needs to be closed" windows message.

Solution to the game instability problem - had to bump ICH Core volts up one notch from 1.10 to 1.20v and IOH volts up 2 notches from 1.10 to 1.14v and now games run fine.

So even though LinX and Prime ran fine over and over games had problems and other volts had to be tweaked to get more stability for those specific tasks. Play away guys but this board has been great so far once you get the right combo of volts for you cpu and config.
