    Yeah nice to see Commando still getting support. Hopefully the first Striker and Striker Extreme (and maybe even the first Crosshair) will keep getting updates too.

    @sxs112 Thanks for maintaining this thread I'm sure it helpful to many.
    I recently bought, on the cheap/used a Asus S2E so I've been out cruising the net to see what I can learn.
    I'm particularly happy to see the 1202zip because I've been looking for it too.
    I will be mating this board with a QX9650 and believe it may be just what the doctor ordered.

    Edit: BIOS is showing date 26-12-2008 but not released until 17-01-2009? Apart from that it is working fine so far...

    Changes.

    Added CPU Clock Skew.
    Added NB Clock Skew.

    Also seems like some minor changes nothing I can be certain of otherwise. ASUS didn't supply us with a changelog for the beta bios.

    Much thanks to A-Grey for helping with the logistics, communications and being such an awesome persistent guy Also thanks to Zucker, Brama, et al who helped us compile and replicate outstanding bugs to send to Asus bios team. Also kudos to Asus for making such a well designed board, that could have been the DDR2 Quad Core FSB king if they'd added these options about 10 months ago Shame it's end of line now but never the less it's now able to reach its potential in the right hands.

    This bios breaks down the Quad Core 500Mhz FSB wall if you know what you are doing
