I noticed that on my M3A79-T, if I set 1.4 vcore in BIOS, all of the temp and sensor programs read .03 more vcore (which puts it at 1.4375V) than BIOS when I am stressing the CPU. Is anyone else seeing this happen with their PII and M3A79-T or am I missing something? This is the total opposite of V Droop.

Many boards overvolt when a "hungry" quad core cpu is plugged. I had overvolt with my old cpu(9850BE) and I had with this. It's not something normal, but not so important for the OC, you only set lower vcore values and have no problems with that.

Hmm seems weird. Can't test it myself yet as I'm still waiting for my 940 but you may well have discovered a new PHENOMinon

You should term it as V-rise or somethin' while your still the first to report it

You've never seen overvolt? In bulgarian we say it "overvolt", I think it should come from English.

I've heard of users over-volting on purpose yes but haven't seen a mobo increase vcore under load above that which was set. Asus usually have v-droop. Maybe they decided drooping up the way was more beneficial

Sometimes the mobos take control in their "hands" and rise the voltages a bit. Mine overvolts around 0.03-4V too, but not under load. Even in bios. This could be wrong reading of the default cpu vcore, but in most cases it's because of the mosfets.
