Yes it will, but do not expect that you will be able to overclock as high with 12GB ram.
I assume you mean overclocking the CPU, if I was to have 12GB how far could I OC a 920? How far could I OC a 920 with just 6GB of the same memory or perhaps a higher speed memory? In the end I am not trying to be a number cruncher I just want to be able to play video games at 2560 x 1600 resolution and not have my CPU choke my GPUs.
