can you explain a bit more like why they dont o.c as good would of thought it would be as good if not better becuase of the higher bandwidth of ddr3

Not sure the specific reason for it, but I can verify that it doesn't OC as well as the DDR2 version. Perhaps the bios for the T version is a bit immature, but at the moment the DDR2 version is superior

I'm not 100% sure if it's the f8a bios or some other settings I changed, but the voltages have changed a little for the better. The vdrop is now HIGHER, but the vdroop is LOWER. I find that fits my needs perfectly as I was idling at 1.472 and now I am idling at 1.456, which both ended up vdrooping to 1.424

    dont buy

Whatever you do, dont buy the ep45t-ud3p, i had the board and played with it for 2 weeks, p45 and ddr3 are a bad match, and the board just sucks, and there is 000000000 bios support, dont say i didnt warn you.

    nice clocks Raja

Sweet Raja, you should be able to get 500fsb no problem, cant ask for more than that with a quad, like to see some everest runs with your setup?, where are you team xtreems ?.

Read the review bobreece, why do you think i rma the board to newegg, its febuary, and still no bios updates, the board wont boot at all on the 200 strap, trust me its not a good board, the ddr2 version kicks butt, but there are alot of good ddr3 boards out there, probally the best money can buy is the asus rampage extreme, read the threads here, and reviews, that board is a monster.

Are you having problems populating more than one slot?
Mine booted first time (stock settings) with no issues.
I have noticed that these particular G.Skills seem to prefer lower voltages, as I struggle towards a final setup I'll probably try undervolting them to see what happens.
Yep. I have a rev 1.0 and a rev 1.1 boards that will not run with 2 sticks of ram.

    @clo007

I have simillary problem, I canīt run 2x2 ram at 1066 with bus 333, 1066 with bus 400 or 1080 with bus 450.

    I can run ram at 1200 with 2x1 at bus 400, 450 and 500.

I can run my ram up to 1100 at bus 550 (dual core), it seems like this board have problem to run ram at ~1050 and higher at anything else the 1:1 with 2x2.

I have tried this with 2x2 Corsair Dominator PC8500.

Have you tried to run 1:1 with yours?

if i remember correctly (i'll have to check again), with my gskill 2x2GB 8800 PI and ocz 9200 flex ii, i can do all things that you mention you couldn't do, as of now, i think it's definitely possible that this is a problem with only certain ram kits.

I think youīre right. I remember your screenies with those.

I forgot to mention that I have tried some 2x2 OCZ Reaper PC8500 ver3 and I have the same problem with those.

My Dominator are on the ram QVL list for this board, strange, it seems like there is some of those UD3P board thatīs more picky the others.

I can boot with dual channel strap 333 multi 2,40B with bus 434 ram 1042 but not with bus 435 ram 1044, no matter what I do.

Run ram 1066 or 1080 with bus 400 or 450 in dual channel , single channel

This is the same with all my ram 2x1 (7 set) or 2x2 (3 set).

    Strange thing, I can do 1200 with my 2x2 HyperX PC9600 at bus 400, 450 and 500 but not 1066 or 1080 at bus 333, 400 or 450.

I have revision 03, stepping A3 on my P45 chip.

Maybe I should try to RMA the board and see if the new one is better.

This board is just too much fun for memory OCing! Kits I've struggled to clock over DDR2-1200 can do 650+ on it with relative ease.
