There are some bugs pointed out so you can avoid the hassle.
Yes, enabling PPM ( which is required along with EIST for Turbo Mode to work ) alters the CPU Voltage adjustments setting ( it's a bug and it has been reported to Foxconn )
You should be able to hit DDR3-2000 with the G13 BIOS "at ease" if your RAM can do it.
Which BIOS version are you using ?
