I'm with BA; excellent painting job!

One thing with the midplate - I'd re-rivet the bottom mobo tray rail before riveting the murdeMod midplate to the existing midplate. You'll find that it just fits between the rail and the outer edge of the existing midplate.

Looking forward to seeing your special plans.

Thanks BA and Charles and thanks for the tip regarding the rail and the midplate.

I doubt any one can guess what I used behind the M|M logo?
This is not special lighting either. Charles had a suggestion for me but I could not locate it. So I improvised for $1.99 at Hobby Lobby and the logo looks lit up.

This one was taken with the flash.

    LMK what you think.
I still have to rivet the midplates together but my new Arrow riveter sucks.
I would appreciate any ones input for a good one. TIA

I know those hobby stores have all kinds of different craft paper that my wife likes to look at. Could it be a shiny piece of paper? It looks good whatever it is.

I know, it is shocking and these come in a lot of colors. Thus, endless and cheap combination's.

    Cool, yes?

I agree, but it would be impossible unless you know a source for LED's that are as thin as tissue paper.

Could you light the acrylic from the sides, then glue the sequins to the back of the acrylic to reflect the light?

or would this fit?- it is very thin...not paper thin though (prob around the thickness of your piled up sequins)

    http://www.frozencpu.com/products/81...e_LDS12WT.html

it can be cut (into pieces w/ 3 lights/strip) & it is super bright - maybe like metasheep suggested, light the acrylic from the sides (w/ this)

    Nils,

Shall we try Latin or Mandarin? Not sure that I want to try sausage in China!

I know that cat is the other white meat, but not in my sausage.

However, the Chinese make some outstanding beer!

    Cheers!

I didnt have much time today but tomorrow will an all day blow out. I am going to repaint my midplate due to a small blemish that I cannot live with but I will drill out my two H20 tubing holes first. I riveted the backplate to the MB tray and mounted the MB and the res. I failed to order the black res holder for the EK res and the clear looks terrible, at least to me.
I used the Apogee mounting hardware including the i7 backplate ( Thanks BA!) for the Aqua HD block. If you do this you will have to drill out the Aqua brackets as they are too small in diameter to accept the Apogee screws. The mounting bracket for the Di had larger holes. LMK what you think positive or negative and ideas or suggestion are always appreciated.

    I love these Bitpower fittings.
I start sleeving tomorrow, otherwise known as, I fly at dawn!
