oh yeah ek supreme is bowed...i just found out, which explains why my mounting temps were really close to another..but the bowedness(is that a word) around the outside of the base...

can anybody confirm the bow is circular? the gtz i think is cylindrically(is this a word) bowed

Hell of a block... but isn't cheap. Having machined *tiny* electromechanical parts for more than a decade I must say the quality of the work on the bases is quite impressive though.

yeah i've ever so pleased with the pin and microchannel design..the nickel plating at the base is soooo goood its still shiny after several mounts

Those are some decent temps. What are your loads like? You should try using Real Temp and calibrate it to your processor.

Load her on OCCT or Linpack.

Also you didnt state ambients.

What ambients are you running?

THe XSPC block is a great block, its a low restriction block which means it will do better on multi block setups.

But it will get its ass handed by a GTZ, KL-350 and a pressure pump system on its own loop.

so b4 everyone starts moving there pumps b4 cpu, let me clarify.

This only works if you have an injector in the mid plate.

If your running a low restriction block, pump order has no impact.

The reason why it works well on injectors is (my theory) the pressure is hitting the mid plate more evenly. This gives you a better impact and also better performance.

Moving your pump to get 1-2C is what i think is worth it. We change blocks sometimes to get that last bit of performance.

So changing the pump first to the block with the K-350 will lower temps then?

And excuse me, a program to find ambients? Its called a thermometer at your intake.

Mine requires 1.425v to run @ 4200Mhz with HT=ON.
Temps are nice, about 73c for the max core with LinX .0.5.5.

BTW, Linpack only use 50% of the CPU if your HT is on, make sure to use LinX 0.5.5 if you want to get 100% Load on the CPU with HT=ON.

it still loads up cores hotter then occt.

I just had to make a bigger hole. It´s a differance of about 2-3mm on each side that u have to do bigger on the GTZ plate. Just use a dremel and go
