i'll open it up when i get the new one, field work is just tiring..
oh yeah ek supreme is bowed...i just found out, which explains why my mounting temps were really close to another..but the bowedness(is that a word) around the outside of the base...
can anybody confirm the bow is circular? the gtz i think is cylindrically(is this a word) bowed
Hell of a block... but isn't cheap. Having machined *tiny* electromechanical parts for more than a decade I must say the quality of the work on the bases is quite impressive though.
Asus G73- i7-740QM, Mobility 5870, 6Gb DDR3-1333, OCZ Vertex II 90Gb
gtz cylindrical, because inner square frame has to "humps" top and bottom to bow the base...
So itīs the D-tek the better choice for I7 today ?
[SIGPIC]http://techsweden.org[/SIGPIC]
Gigabyte Z87X-OC, Haswell 4770K, 8GB Team Group 2666mhz, Asus HD7970
i don't have the mounting bracket yet...hopefully they do get out with one...
man...
I currently have D-tek Fuzion V1 and not sure if I should get GTZ or Koolance 350
BTW, D-tek guys must be upto something in their labs to miss this oppertunity to add just a simple mounting bracket...![]()

thats idle.
idle doesnt prove anything.
Load her on OCCT or Linpack.
Also you didnt state ambients.
What ambients are you running?
THe XSPC block is a great block, its a low restriction block which means it will do better on multi block setups.
But it will get its ass handed by a GTZ, KL-350 and a pressure pump system on its own loop.

ASUS Rampage II Extreme | i7 920 cpu | Corsair Tri Channel 6 GB | GTX 580 FTW Hydro | Corsair P256 SSD| 4 TB OF HDD | Corsair HX1000 PSU
Loop #1: TFC 480 | KOOLANCE 350 BLOCK | Loop #2: TFC 360 | FTW HYDRO | Swiftech NB Block | MM Pinnacle 24 Case
HEAT
Current on going build, Mountain Mods Pinnacle 24
no bud this is idle.
And excuse me, a program to find ambients? Its called a thermometer at your intake.
Post one of these with realtemp on at the start of your test so we can see your MAX temp:
Oh and realtemp has a timer too BTW.
Or this is fine with 10min into it:
Yes, by 1-2C. Honda quadruple confirmed it for me.

What exactly did you have to mod?
Sig is under construction
That is some fine fine chip you go there.
What batch# is it ?
Mine requires 1.425v to run @ 4200Mhz with HT=ON.
Temps are nice, about 73c for the max core with LinX .0.5.5.
BTW, Linpack only use 50% of the CPU if your HT is on, make sure to use LinX 0.5.5 if you want to get 100% Load on the CPU with HT=ON.
