Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64-bit platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in an upcoming release of Flash Player following the release of Flash Player 10.1.

Dammit.. again they screw up the mounting of the cooler.. there's no way to orientate the cooler like you want to..
So if you want to install a TRUE it will again face up/down instead of the case exhaust...

Seems like Gigabyte didn't screw up anything...Thermalright ata last should spend some time designing a bracket for correct orientation on AM2/AM2+/AM3 Sockets....

I'll never understand why manufacturers put a flat finless cap on their NB heatsinks...kinda impedes heat transfer...

Really sexy looking board, makes the decision between i7 and AM3 even more difficult =/ but I notice the DDR3 isn't triple channel, what's up with that?

Upgrading a little soon I hope

Why do you think AM3 supports triple channel?

Sure, it looks nice, but how does it perform? That's all I care about. Specifically, I see it is rated at 140W, but I wonder what it will really do. I don't like that they covered the power section's heatsink, either. Unless the cap pops off easily, it'll be hard to get a fan on it.
Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.

    Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.

    Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.

    Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.

    Rule 3:
When it comes to computer news, 70% of Internet rumors are outright fabricated, 20% are inaccurate enough to simply be discarded, and about 10% are based in reality. Grains of salt--become familiar with them.

Remember: When debating online, everyone else is ALWAYS wrong if they do not agree with you!

    Random Tip o' the Whatever
You just can't win. If your product offers feature A instead of B, people will moan how A is stupid and it didn't offer B. If your product offers B instead of A, they'll likewise complain and rant about how anyone's retarded cousin could figure out A is what the market wants.

Not for nothing but it appears that some companies were reading our "AM3 motherboard thread" and what the general consensus wants/likes in a mobo

Very nice...but I feel a really high price tag like with intel boards.

    Why only 2 pci-e slots?

Alot of cases are coming with an E sata port so it's not that big of a deal, CM690 is a popular case that has it.

    This board looks killer.
But why they still keep floppy connector and IDE. Also PCI should be ditched.

Yeah some people do still have IDE drives and pci sound cards.

Not that many sound cards are made in pci-e format from what I've seen.
Legacy components for the people that don't have the top of the line stuff and nothing but is still important.

I think clonez is right about the phase setup 10+4+2.

Took a look at the m3a78-T deluxe and that board had 4+1 for for core/Northbridge andthen had 2 over by the memory. Which is how this one is setup.

PCI is still useful especially when a board is not equipped with a post code reader, A must have for any ocer IMO. The floppy could go ( bootable USB replaces it ) but its not really a hindrance where it is. With 2 usable PCI e slots even in crossfire why complain about PCI anyway, I like the fact that there are actual usable slots when using dual slot cards, most companies over look this.
