it's so you don't kill your cpu by accidently going beyond 0.5v variance between vdimm and cpu vttFollowing the guidelines, for safe high vdimm usage, you need to keep CPU VTT (Uncore) voltage within 0.5v of DRAM memory voltage. Seems the bios has a clever feature, if you try to initially set DRAM memory voltage to >0.5v difference from CPU VTT, the bios will automatically increase CPU VTT voltage to ensure there's always a 0.5v difference between DRAM memory voltage and CPU VTT!
