This info is Extremely valuble.
AC ??? only used DFI x58 no other boards to compare, but from what I'm seeing DFI x58 overclocks better than others.

DFI just relased 01/06 bios with change log

1. Patch some board can not boot up as error code hang "B2",
2. Update Intel CPU micro code,
3. Fixed the S3 resume fail when insert Hard Disk to SATA 3/4 port,
4. Patch for SetFSB utility can not run

So to give you an idea of where it's at, I haven't experienced #1, #3 or #4 issues. SetFSB 2.1.88 works fine on my board with 12/31 bios.

I'm a little more conservative voltage wise than the people who have though. My one complaint and problem I guess is this board appears to need to have a collation between vdmm and vtt as eva indicated. I'm sure I'll get better clocks once I get that down. This is still a tweakers board and will become easier once more info is available. Eva has been a great help though keep it coming.
all X58 boards will need to have a balanced relationship with vdimm and uncore/cpu vtt volts for properly stability just each board would handle it differently. Still regardless, memory dividers/stability/tweaking is important to get most of out system and bclk.

I D/L the manual, but there is no useful info. How does this board do CPU Smart Fan? In bios, or as a util under windows? Most importantly, is the smart fan profile fixed, or is it user defineable? Thanks.
screenshots should be self explanatory http://i4memory.com/f80/dfi-lp-ut-x5...enshots-12949/ (3rd post, 1st screen photo). In windows you'd have more control via Smart Guardion options though to set fan speeds according to temps or fan speed.

Am getting this, just need to be sure that I can fit a sound card in there and a raid controller, water cooling the cards so they should have a smaller profile.

Thank you if you can.

Checking out your other topic in the other forum, it doesn't look like you can run two GPU in x16 slots and crossfirex too, from the pictures am seeing of the lanes setup, it has to be x16 and x8?

I copied this from the online manual.

Both in the specifications and the image above it mentions 2-way CrossFire or 3-way SLI but there's no mention of 2-way SLI. Is this an oversight?

I've got a DFI LP UT X58 on order but because of a server error it won't ship until the 13th of January.
I think 2 way SLI is a given if 3 way is supported, will try SLI later but I only have 2x 640MB 8800GTS and 2x 512MB 8800GT on hand
