    Ket,

What's it you are adding from X48 exactly? Hope it works out ok, I'm hoping to do similar for X48 bios' to pull stuff from the RE.

Any other settings (n/b s/b volts, Ai transaction Booster) that are worth changing to make mem more compatible ?

    Thanks for your reply
Tried raising NB, SB and memory voltage? try 1.3-1.4v for NB & SB, and 2.1-2.2v for memory.

I'm taking the EBB from the RE and its P6 table. The former just to see what results people can get when OCing their memory and how pull-ins and latencies are changed, the latter just to see if it makes a difference to CPU clocks, I'm thinking not, but worth a shot.

    Hi Ket

"Tried raising NB, SB and memory voltage? try 1.3-1.4v for NB & SB, and 2.1-2.2v for memory."

Didn't work. I'm lost for answers on this prob. Seems like i'm gonna have to take out 4gb of the RAM & try overclocking more again.

    Thanks for your advice

    Ket,

Interesting mate! EBB contains instructions for hardware init doesnt it? Routing Ports, DMA, Interrupts, etc yes?

Apparently not. If it did all sorts of things would go weird, but it all works as it should. I suspect DMA, interrupts etc are all probably contained in the single link arch bios module.

1613m for p5q pro works like a charm, I'm able to boot 4.5Ghz with my E8500 C0, I've never been able to do that before, though I didn't try to get it stable.

I'm also able to get higher stable oc than before

Anyway, just have to tell you that ur doing a great job with theese BIOS releases ket. Keep up the good work!

V1 versions in this pack use a memory table from a early BIOS version of the Maximus 2 Formula, where the other vesrion in the pack uses the memory table from the latest M2F BIOS, 1802.

I see now...and which one do you recommend for overclocking 4DIMM-s?

    i dont have any trouble overclocking ram, 500 1.8v and 533 1.9v, both CL5, with Team Elite 2x2GB PC6400 CL5 sticks
but can't say the same about my cpu. could this any of this moded bios help?

i have a P5Q-E Rev A2 bios 1103, that did 500FSB flawlessly on a E6600, with all board voltages on "minimum"(aka the first manually defined after minimum)

with current E7200 i canīt boot to windows with higher fsb than 400~410, when previous owner of this cpu guaranteed me it made at least 550FSB on a P35 board

i had the same issues with all oficial bios (prior to mine) that i've tried

I wanna try lol. You say it all works as it should as if you have tried it already. If so then is it better? I have missed out on all kinds of stuff by spending all of my time playing games.

I have one question for all P5Q useres, specialy for thoose with D9GMHs.My P5Q non pro looks like she doesnt like D9GMH. I have pair of Crucial Value 667 CL5 2x1GB(D9GMH), and they cant go more then 1100 on this mobo. With SuperTalent ddr2 800( PowerChip i can hit 600FSB(1200ddr2) easy). Any experiences with P5Q non pro and overclocking GMH on it?? I tryed 4 difrent bioses, but no improvment. This GMHs are pretesred, on 630+(1260ddr2).

Any solution or tip, will be welcome.Thnx

I went ahead and flashed a P5Q Pro version, seemed to be alright but didn't have time for further testing as I haven't finished finding the "right" BIOS for my hardware.
