    Alright a small update.

I had a chance to cut the grill today.
I am not sure whether I am going to
anodize it or paint it the same as the
    brackets.
I have a few other pieces to get painted
so I think if I paint everything then it will
    all match.

    Enjoy!

    dave some advice?

for that build, put some spacers on that grill so you can shove an AC filter inside and have a filter.

soemthing like that? you know what im getting at? so you can just pull it from the top clean and slide it back in.

    NaeKuh,

Fiberglass will stop a loaf of bread but not much more. He would be better off using 1/4" window shaker (window unit) filter from Ace Hardware. It is washable and most have some sort of plastic frame for rigidity. Lowes and Home Depot also carry them and you can buy them individually without having to buy 24 of them. Normally sold as "Each".

That looks really nice. Would look nice anodized, powercoated, or painted.. I'm curious what it would look like mounted on the inside.

    Thanks Eddie!

Ya it probably would look good on the inside but since it costs quite a bit to make, almost 45 min on the water jet alone, I think I'll just keep it on the front.

I am going to have it powdercoated red the same as the brackets along with some of the other pieces.
That way the red stays the same for almost everything.

I'm patiently waiting for packages to arrive...

BTW I found out that the Bitspower rotary fittings are much shallower than regular fittings and therefor normal 1/2" fittings will not tighten all the way down. I had to send the Dtek fittings back and get the Bitspower ones which are a bit shallower. Gary at Sidewinder was great, definitely custom service orientated.

    Ok lots of updates today.

One of the biggest things with this build to me is wire management. I really don't like to see wires.
With that in mind I designed a few pieces to help hide the wires.
The first piece goes in between the front fans and will hide all the wires coming from the front panel as well as all the fan wires.

The second piece is a square aluminum tube that will run along the front and goes back to a custom box in front of the power supply. This box will be all aluminum and will basically be the control center for all the wires. I also have a little surprise that I'm working on that I'm not quite ready to share !

The little aluminum piece was a test piece to make sure my concept will work.

I also cut the grill for the MCR220 that will be mounted on the back. Most of the pieces will be powder coated red.

    Enjoy!!

It is just a matter of time. I just don't have enough of it! I figured MM has already gone through the trouble of designing a great case and already worked out any bugs.

Kinda, I am either going to put these http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...oducts_id=3402 in between the case and the grill or I am going to put one big mesh attached directly to the grill.Either way the grill will only be attached in the four corners so it will come off easily. All the holes will get bolt heads to make it look as if every hole is screwed in. I'll show more on this later.

Oh wow, absolutely love the guide that hides the wires. Wire management is simply one of my pet peeves in builds. Sometimes you see excellent builds with great watercooling designs, only for the aesthetics to be completely diminished because of a few burly wires coming into view.
Good choice on the S-Flex for horizontoal radiators and yates on the vertical.
Are you going with sleeving or will leave the wires bare? Someone had a very good diy writeup on braiding the wires, but I personally like the look of everything sleeved in black.
    +1 for creativity and design.

I will sleve what little bit of the wiring you see.
Because I will use the channel to route all my wires from
the power supply to the front panel there will be very
    little exposed wiring.
I am also going to make a riser that will hide all the
wiring to the motherboard. More on that later.....

Well I got home today and it was like Christmas all over again! All my packages arrived!

I have started to design the control box that will hide most of the wiring. I also put the grills in the rear openings and partly mounted the rear rad. I need to get some SS screws so I cannot mount the top rads yet.

The grill on the rear rad is the same one that I am getting painted red. I just put it on to see how it looks. I will probably make another one for the top fan.

I also realized that I need a small opening for the pump wires and the pump LED so I milled a small slot to allow for the wire.

I'll have some more updates soon, thanks for checking this out!!!

I used these for the top and back: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...oducts_id=2331

The ones I am probably going to use for the front are these:

As a side note the hard drives in the pictures above are not the actual hard drives. They are just some old POS ones so I could see how they look.

Thanks for the quick response. I also ordered some of the red ones ... hope they look as good as yours.

Also like the channel you've done for hiding the wiring, and interested to see your tray. This is going to be one of the nicest builds here.

I did sort of the same thing as you in my build got my wires hidden behind a piece of green acrylic with Green and UV lights in it i like your implementation more though :p good just with everything bro especially that awesome grill in the front... I went with the same type of filters and i placed them behind black wire grills and looks pretty nice imo :p anyways cant wait to see the "secret" :p and the end look of your build atm it is looking AWESOME

Hiding cables in such a way is something that reminds me of the Rainmaker build. Anyways looking very good so far, as I'm not usually a fan of MM builds, but this one has really got my attention
