I am not really an overclocker but undterstand memory timings, I am just pretty clueless as to how set up this motherboard to make it stable.

I have noticed something else too. when set to auto the ram is picked up as DDR3-1066. It is defintely not, unless it was badged wrongly at corsair. Here is a pic of my pc with everything set to auto....

but when I change it to DDR3-1333, 9-9-9-24 with 1.6v. Memset is telling me the memory is being overclocked by 25%. Of course this could be normal as I am not sure on what it should be. Just want it to stop crashing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to get another screen shot with these settings but it crashes everytime I try capture the screen (or even before)
Hi,

try setting tRRD to something between 7 and 10. I deeply believe ASUS screwed that efault value of 5 up, taking it straight from the P5Q DDR2 BIOS.

Additionally, try setting tRFC to 82 or 88.

That should do it if it's the memory, and not the GTL bus acting up. I am using a Q9550 E0 myself...
