if you have the SuperPi icon as a shortcut somewhere in your desktop or quick launch bar you may want to put it back in the folder it originally was and try running it again. You should run prime small fft to see if you're somewhat stable. It would tell you if you have a ram problem very quickly.

You need to run Hyperpi under Vista ( you can disable the sound which is one of the main causes for superpi to crash under Vista )

    Grab here : Hyperpi

I got 580 sort of stable ( didn't run prime just hyperpi dual instances 32mb ) the EP45T needs some bios tinkering mate by gigabyte not by us. Let's hope F4 will be a big upgrade

    My current stats here :EP45t-ud3p-review

Bootable from bios but not Hyperpi stable, small FFT ran for an hour but blend crashed in a minute

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Hey Lee, whats up, i did make some progress with the board, i can get into windows at 600fsb, but i cant complete a everest run, it crashes, but i did get 590, on 3.20c divider, which i think is pretty sweet.

    Hey Raja

I just found this thread, man that ud3p is popular, and sweet board, i see 650fsb, wowwwwww, im trying for 600fsb, but i want to keep same divider, if i change dividers i can probally do it easy. I dont know what to do with this board, im probally going to get rid of it and get a asus p5e3 preminum, not sure, its not the fsb that makes me want to dump it, its the bench scores, there horriable, well below normal, and the 266, 200 straps dont work at all, how long would i have to wait for gigabyte to fix this ? who knows, maybe never.

thats probally true, gigabyte has lot of boards in the p45 series.and that particular model doesnt have alot of early adopters,so it doesnt get the bios attention the ddr2 boards do.

Not advised for 24/7 use, get a nice Antec spotcool (3 speed, flexible mount) so you get the best out of two worlds : NB and ram cooling !!!

Installed this on my Vista x64 setup and seems to be working fine. Even though it says Vista x86 only on the gigabyte site, it installed without any problems on x64. However for some reason, the X-Fi MB comes up as a 30 day trial??

Yes its your CPU as small FFT's are stress the cores harder than anything else related to P95.
