Also, AM3 Ready doesn't mean the socket is AM3.
It simply means "AM3 compatible".

I am sure that AM3 CPU can put into AM2 socket,
but AM3 socket has 1pin less so the AM2 CPUs may not be able to fit into the 1 pin less socket.

Thats why I offered the link to newegg......Seriously please read before posting......
