ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe discussion

Hi Everyone.

I am trying desperately to get this board stable. I have just built a new pc using the asus P5Q3 Deluxe wifi board and Corsair TW3X4G1333C9DHX (2x2gb sticks). I am trying to install Vista 64bit and have had loads of problems.
I initially used bios 1201 which was a nightmare. I then used 1609 and played around with it using advice on this thread and now I have 1702.

with the original bios it was crashing big style. At that point I set the DRAM frequency to DDR3-1333 and the timings to 9-9-9-24. I set the DRAM voltage to 1.6 then 1.7v

I have read through this forum and tried the things mentioned but I cannot stop my pc from rebooting.

once the bios's were updated I got vista on, when I put 1702 on I left everything on auto as I was getting nowhere changing the different timings etc. Now I am getting reboots within the os.

I was just wondering what the best setting are for the 1702 BIOS for this corsair memory. I am not interested in OC'ing yet I just want it stable!

any help would be greatly appreciated as I am going nuts!!

Are you on stock NB voltage ? If so, up that a little, as my review sample was also unstable at stock NB.
