OK. I can confirm that setting is the one. However, setting the DRAM Back-to-Back CAS# Delay setting to 18 causes a huge hit in memory performance (cuts it in half according the everest). I simple set it to the lowest possible manual setting of 4 (BIOS sets it to 0 in AUTO) and the cold boot issue is gone and a minor hit in memory performance which I can make up on other settings anyways.
