I'mo most of the people buy the best hardware any manufacturer can offer to date, they don't sit and wait to rumors come true, also even if is true when they wait for that "GT212 GX2" (for example) and when the time comes another rumor or annoucement comes out of another powerful card, its a vicious cycle if you follow it you never buy anything waiting for new stuff...
