what's the best affordable controller for 2-4 standard MLC drives in your opinion? Talking about 150/100 MB/s drives made by Compustocx (Samsung-based, very similar to OCZ core). Performance and fast initialization are important (the Adaptecs are too slow.. I know Highpoint is fast, what about Areca?)
