Look at it this way the highest i7 oc I have seen was 5.7ghz I believe, and it had cold bug problems past -120C if I remember correctly. The phenom2 is being oced to 6.2-6.3 already at -180c, it has no cold bug so if you used liquid helium you could possibly go over 7ghz maybe even 7.5 ghz seeing how well they seem to scale with temp and voltage. Amd hasn't even had time to tweak their 45nm proccess yet, they are always improving it. Remember the first 65nm phenom could only hit 2.4ghz stock and 3 ghz oc was extremely rare like winning the lottery. After time amd tweaked the process and now the 65nm is at 2.6 stock and people are getting to 3.2 all the time and people have broke the 4ghz mark. So the phenom2 is only going to get better with time, and "if" intel pulls out all the stops and releases a 4ghz i7 or a 4ghz Core 2 Quad, Amd could always put High-k in the 45nm mix. It could really make for some sick chips. Well thats enough speculation out of me, am I that far off base??
