rge: Thanks for that info. That'll be an easy fix.
The i7 sensors are supposed to be new and improved. They still seem to have some slope error where the CPU temperature changes slightly differently than the sensors indicate. Harder to tell though with some Core i7 cores possibly being turned off at idle.
In theory, if these sensors don't get stuck, they're capable of reading down to -27C. Most of them will probably get stuck before that point but it would be interesting if someone could do some testing. It gets to -40C here in the winter but I'm afraid the neighbors will be calling the guys with the white jackets to come and get me if they see me hauling my computer outside, again.
