SilenX is the Bose of PC cooling: horribly exaggerated specs, snobbish attitude, design over performance, aimed at people who have no idea what they are buying, performance comparable with 5x cheaper run-of-the-mill brands.
The fans on it look wimpy and flimsy, but the heatsink looks decent, though. Can you test it with some fans that are known to be good?
