I don't think AMD would want ANYTHING at all to hinder it's delivery and sales of PII. That's why I also
speculate that they wouldn't demo super cherried chips because they simply don't have the luxury of letting anyone down. They mentioned that 4GHz will be the average overclock of a 940 (give or take a couple of MHz), I don't see any reason at all for them to be exaggerating this figure, they're simply not in a position to do so. And after hearing of the 6.2GHz LN2 demo at San Fransico the other day, along with the LN2 demo in Austin, Texas I think AMD's really trying to show that they've got something good.
I'm glad that there's lots of talk of AMD lately, regardless of whether it's rubbish or serious discussion. I've just gotten sick of hearing Intel so often on every PC forum. Hope Deneb is good enough to bring AMD back into the PC community... at an affordable price
