Just gave my buddy in Montreal my DX3600 system..The one with the 3600/2mb/800 Irwindales in it..
Would do app 7500 a day in WCG but at a cost of a solid 280W usage.
You should hear him. He loves it.
I paid $2000.00 for that MB,cpu's and memory back in August of 2005..

yea, he's a gamer and stuck a 8800GTX in it and thinks it's the nuts..
Now elec in Montreal is app 4.5 cents per KW/h so it's not a big issue up there.
Hell, I'd take machines there to run but getting them across the border is nuts now.
Last time I went up I brought him an old IBM Intellistation and came close to popping one of the canadian customs guys. Arrogant SOB and got right in my face. I told him he had a count of three to step back or I was going to plant him in the sidewalk..
yea,I started counting and he moved.. looked 22 and built like Mark Spitz..
I had 50lbs on him and looked like I did in that pic with the Northern Pike..
    I think he got scared..

If I could figure out a way to send Duh the other MB, CPU, and heatsink without his customs trying to burn him a new one I would.

    Still working on it.

Dave, I hear ya. Wish I could afford everything here. I could do 300K/day, easily.

Good news, my sister got the E6600 and Giga... P35-DS3R. The few other things she needed came in and she built it, over the phone, on Sunday. She is thrilled!

You know you've got it bad when even the "old" systems you give away are considered the shiznit.

I know, that is funny..I tried to explain to a local owner of a PC store what I had at my house but you could tell from the look on his face that he thought I was full of BS..
So I unplugged Nelly and took it down there.. The look on his face was worth millions(This is before release of the Nehalems) so I didn't lose time on WCG..

    Cheers Guys!!

I was just about to put it up lol!

Just wait till I get the other 2 quads up and put everything on xp64 or Vista64bit. Cos for some reason I am not getting enough points for my linux crunchers

I think I single handedly pushed up the 2nd hand price of Q6600's by buying 5 in two weeks lol

Somehow I dont think I will be getting a lot of pie regularly, just when updates align with the starts in the right order.

    emu

BTW does this mean I can get Maroon and Xtreme Cruncher?

Well that is not worse than having my Q6600 put out 18k/d at 700W per hour (thank you phase unit )
