well when you have backplate, then you add another backplate on top of it, but one that isnt flushed, you could get uneven tension. Expecially since that stock plate isnt square.
That is why swiftech made theres boxy with a hole in the middle.
also strenghtes is not very hard in mountings
so backplate without square center hole will be better?correct
@op, the square of your backplate is pretty much useless.
