Actually, D-Tek uses a liquid gasket material to seal the block up... that's why the gaskets, after curing, usually always have excess material which should be removed. Now, OP, your inlet washer looks similar to how mine did when I pulled my system apart (the adhesive had degraded and puckered up around the edges of the washer).
