how to test
easy run linpack with fsb 400 and ram just at 800 everything auto with ure rated voltage for that ghz...
and nb is 0.64...confirmed. over and over again.
the thing is set strap to 200
and reduce the clock twister to light
and MAKE SURE U ENABLE THe dram dynamic thingy to enabled...
and 1600 CL7 tRD 5 is possible for 4x1gb
the benchy just now 1N is actually not stable and 2n is just marginal
what i found more stability is
set channel A to pull enabled at trd 6 with 2N.. so basically a 5/6 trd
and u will get around 10400 with 4gb kit and the best of all around 48.6-49.0 for latency...
still find 4 sticks on this board is a bit unstable because of dimm A1 and B1
IBT proves this over and over again and also theres 4 test i like to do that shows stability before i run linpack
all must be run in diagnostic mode in priority 10 for orthos and virtual mem disabled. with a 64 bit system.
Test 1 .
Run Orthos, Go to Blend and then to Custom.
Change from 15 minutes to 1 minute... This will show how unstable ure GTL is very quickly.
run all interations twice so roughly one hour 30 minutes or so.
Test 2.
Run Orthos Go to Blend and then to Custom
Change min FFT to 4096...
this will show unstable ure gtl/nb/mem is .
run for atleast two runs so roughly 33 minutes or so
Test 3.
Run Orthos Go to Blen and then Custom
Change Max FFT to 8
this will show how ure CPU vcore to GTL and NB is unstable...
run for atleast two runs so roughly 30 minutes or so.
Test 4
Of course fav HSI Memtest for atleast 100% for 4gb roughly 1 hour
if u can pass the above.. linpack is guaranteed and ure gaming is fine and dandy and u will pass prime95 12 hours all the interations
so far on this board with 4 dimms i cant pass any of this test...
not a really happy camper here
2 dimms yes .. but 4 nope...
which is y linpack 50-100 runs.. aint happening any time soon.
OCCT.. such a lousy test... even gaming crysis warhead from begin to finish is a better test of stability
also theres a trick to this board for rams...
u can gain better nb voltages with good ram timings and trd loads with straps and ai clock twister
example strap 400 with ai clock twister stronger at fsb 400 CL7 trd 7
or strap 266 ai clock twister moderate at fsb 400 CL7 tRD 6
or strap 200 ai clock twister light at fsb 400 CL7 trD 5
keep trying with the dram dynamic this enabled or disable.. DONT LEAVE IT ON AUTO..
