That being said I would honestly hold off on getting 3.4 alot of these mobos MOSFETs simply wont handle the high speed without active cooling on them, and alot of people have actually blown their mobos out as a result.

Likely the issues you are having are indeed power related but not as a result of your powersupply but your mobo itself.

Also on a side note I got rid of my 9950, it was fun but not worth the money especially when in about 4 weeks I'll have a new Deneb to play with. So Ill use this $30 X2 4400 for now lol
Yeah, I too am nervous beyond 3.224ghz. I have had some wierd shutdowns and BSODs that gave me pause. Nothing weird with ACC, just enough other weirdness to give me pause. Plus your voltage requirements and heat generation rise exponentially above 3.2, at least with my mobo and stepping.
