I did, at some point,, quickly forgot about it mainly because certain phase rigs use way too much power
Really, it'd be better to compile that kind of data on rigs running at stock speeds as well as overclocked to varying degrees. Again, big project.

That would be interesting - for the Euroland guys especially since they pay at least 2-3 times what the US does for juice. Iabout $0.19/kw-hr but that's pretty good from a worldwide perspective.
I've thought about doing it for a while but never got around to building myself a lead I can whack my ammeter on.

seriously, I have one and it gives you a good view of overall system usage. The best idea though is when you upgrade your ups, to get one with a built in watt meter.

... and just where do you think a full time student married to an unemployed spouse with 4 kids (3 teenagers) is gonna get the $$$s to do that?
I'm an industrial electrician by trade with electronics and instrumentation experience (among other things). If I want it, I can build it ... if I can get time and enthusiasm.
plus ... I'm not math-challenged enough to need a meter to work out watts when I already know voltage, current and power factor.
