I was way off then so according to this example from Cryptik:

Vtt x 0.667 + Y = Vtt x 0.635

1.14v x 0.667 + Y = 1.14v x 0.635
0.760v + Y = 0.724v
Y = 0.724v - 0.760v
Y = -0.036v
Y = -36 mv

With FSB termination voltage set at 1.15316 ( just presuming it's a good value: = 1.15316 x .635 = .73. But he add .667 for 5 core - I don't get it and read it 5 times.

I know what you mean

but -36 looks reasonable, I get lost at the .63 and .67 multipliers as the RE works differently but my temps have proved the - values to work best on 45nm CPUs so I'm sticking with 'em. I think the science and mathematics go so far then the rest is down to trial and error !

Just starting to play with them again now .........
