the q9650 seems to be all about the VID 1.20 is the best i think and 1.25 is the worst well saying that i am stable at 4ghz with a VID of 1.25 and vcore of just under 1.29 which is nothing given you can take these upto 1.40 - 1.45. so i dont think there are any rules with these chips seems the game has changed and the 1 thing that will hold you back is you mobo's fsb wall.Originally Posted by Flinch

sorry to go back to this after all this time but the great white by scan they used 1.62 or somthing near there to get 4.4ghz. im priming my evga 780i not the the 790i that they used but no real diffrence stable for prime blend for 10mins now on 1.38 vcore beat that SCAN!!!
