@ whoever mentioned the foxconn board: I'm sure saaya could better represent this, but by looking at the avenger and blackops I think there will be a very top notch enthusiast board from them

From my understanding...Gigabyte is keeping a close eye on digital PWM. However, all current development in this area (by other companies) is being done for the server market and constant full load environments. As a result, these components don't really fit in well with technologies like Dynamic Energy Saver and they also command a pretty sizeable price premium over analog PWM.

i dont think digital pwm has much to do with vdroop, vdroop was introduced only in recent years by intel, before that there wasnt much of a vdroop...
and a lot of people are using "digital" PWM solutions, all high end vgas, dfi, foxconn and even evga.
