1102 supports the E0 45nm. I needed it for my E0 E8500. As far as which clocks further - if you have an E0 you need to use this bios so it doesnt really matter. For my 65nm quad, 1102 clocks same as any other.

I tried the pencil mod, and I never seemed to get a result from it... I'm positive I penciled in the right one, I did it pretty dark after increasing the darkness a few times.

Holy Snikies!!! Looks like the result of either etreme Heat, or 2 much strain in the center of the CPU socket, maybe from over tighting the cooling device?

    Hello.

Does anyone now what could be the problem. I flashed my P5K-E with the 0602 bios and now the motherboard powers on, and that is all, the fans are spining, but no boot, i cant get into bios, nothing.

What can i do? It worked well until i flashed it with the 0602 bios, i did it becouse i hoped for a better OC, and now nothing.

    any idea's?

    Thanks.

Exactly . You should find older CPU and use it to flash BIOS back to newer version.

you are right. I inserted in a Pentium 4 CPU and in works now. So i guess back to a newer version of bios. Thanks a lot, mate.

It turns out that with decent ram this P5K-E really shines. Currently Priming @ 485MHz FSB with my Quad and loving it.
Should be able to push for 500MHz+ for at least benching! Only thing over stock is MX2 on the Northbrige instead of the Asus goop.

    Hello many computer guru,
I am purchasing a 1.5TB HDD Seagate, and I am not sure if this mobo supports it. Does anyone know?

Also, this is OT, but I would set this additional drive as a slave? (compared to the 500GB i already have installed).

    Thanks.
