Mine are a bit low these days for a few reasons, but I expect them to go back up. Count me for 15-20K/day average....

I know...I was at the library so many times to use the internet that the government started questioning me.

Ummm... I refuse to answer on the grounds the answer may tend to incriminate me. Seriously... I'll be in cruise control till the contest. This is not a deliberate effort to sandbag. It's simple economics in terms of my power bill. Just wondering how you might be planning to handicap me? Nothing has changed hardware wise since the last contest. I reserve the right for a few tricks or treats though.

the whole handicap thing is a non issue this race... leave the last race's expectations behind and let this one unfold with it's own layout.. No one's voiced an opinion on making it a close race this time, so DAK shouldn't feel any pressure to impose handicaps like I did on the Laborday comp.. I think we all learned a few things along the way from that one... these comps will probably be better with each one, learning from the mistakes of the last...

Mike, I hope you didn't take my attempt at humor as a dig at you. You did a great job! Somewhere in the last couple pages Dak made a reference to teams being formed based on a 30 day 24hr. average. Since mine won't represent my possible production and RR's won't either... I was just inquiring how that might be handled. If it is a non issue, you won't hear me complaining.

WFO et al; I assure you it's a non issue. I think part of the fun will be to see secret weapons deployed, 'fine tuned' tweaks, and various other tactics. I completely agree with MikeB12's comments (his office was recently moved back upstairs for an incredible low cost ppd gain {$39 for 4400ppd}). In fact, perhaps this race would be most fun if it were completely unfair...Let's not under estimate the power of fun. In the end, everyone is still a winner!!!

I didn't take the comment personally, wfo... that race is in the past anyway... I just didn't want the handicap comment in this thread creating confusion for this race, in case others try to read in between the lines of the comment. that's the only reason I posted and quoted Dak's OP WIP list.

    3 weeks from Sunday!

I went back to sleep that trip kinda wore me out, usually I'm awake by 4 and up by 5; last 2 mornings I've slept right past it and didn't bat an eye til around 6.

as to who was barking... this was a first beach experience for Bea, my 1.5 yo dachshund... she didn't know what to think of the new environment for a couple days...

but we're back home now, so she's back into the normal routine of harassing the cats, squirrels, moles, and any other fury yard invaders..

It should be ~4100. Lately I've gotten some slow projects though... I've only been able to pump out 3 WU's a day.

I should have it figured out and running perfectly again in a few days....

We'll put that little office tart in the "skeletons" group. she's probably got enough stored in the closet for the whole team..
