hey guys,

I have a Q9400 @ 3.5ghz 1.39v with an X48-DQ6 motherboard and some Crucial Ballistix 2x2gb DDR2-800.

I try for 3.6ghz and i get a 0x00000124 BSOD and they say its due to my GTX280 or it just locks up straight away. I see alot of people with >3.8ghz and i barely can hit 3.6ghz.

Should I upgrade to a Q9550 CPU or head for a P5Q Deluxe? A mate of ours got one and had freezing issues with it, so he returned it. I was just wondering if they have improved..
