secondly: I've been meaning to ask MM about the Super-Micro line-up of sossy mobos too - SM has 2-3 diff models iirc

2 models of the sossaman board from SM and they are essentially the same.
One has onboard SCSI I think..Very alike but the SM board and the Tyan boards for the sossamans use those tiny HS that newegg shows for sossamans. They look like NB chipset sinks they are so small.
