My house and familys houses were lucky, all we had were trees down in the yard, nothing on the homes. One tree did clip the edge of my shed I keep the lawnmower in but nothing major for us. I saw homes with 2 and 3 big tree on them with holes through the roof. My net just came on a little bit ago, got all the rigs here back up and crunching, headed to the office to get the rest back up...
Yes, they had a nice 3 days' worth of of units in the queue line so they weren't idle.

well, hurricane season technically runs to Nov. 30th, but everything looks pretty quiet right now. I think the northeast is going to have a rough winter though. Oil was limit up today - think it was the single biggest move in history. Every year I think about getting a snow blower, but this year I think it will actually pay off.
Yeah I wonder about winter too. Last winter was a hefty one, Ohio got slammed with several snowstorms. All on Monday evening/tuesday too, so my one class lost several tuesdays' worth of time. Figures, that was the class I liked more than some of the others

i dont mean this response directly to you f_p, but i agree with the reason for our lower output today
unlike some people i didn't complain about the less than desired wu's available and crunched hpf despite who is involved in that project and did it for the sake of science and anything that may be learned from the wu's i completed gets us another baby step further on the road. and i had a daym good day for my x2, just about doubled yesturday and saturday

I'm doing whatever is available and I think HPF is an important project because it is really basic research and that is where the real breakthroughs come from. But you do have to wonder about academics who bite the hand that feeds them.
