2 GB modules are a bit more of a load for the NB, but not as much as 4x1 GB. It is possible that you cannot get 1600 at all.

I think that we must accept a compromise with this motherboard (or chipset), because it's very fast with 1333 memory, but if is possible for quick test I want to use 1600/1800 frequency
