i like the 2nd pic on the first site of the comic.

    "ROFL ^^", "LOL", "OMFG" lmao

the things they mention in the comic are interesting as well. mayve chrome will really be a step forward!

    *edit*
what i really like about it:
    - multiple processes
    - new tab page with most visited sites
    - read-only incognito tab
    - popups confined to tabs
    - sandboxing

the more i think about it, the more amazing chrome gets!

i'm confident a mouse gesture plugin for it will be written very soon just like it was for firefox. I used opera back in the day, but when i found mouse gestures for firefox i changed and never looked back.

someone write a small script to just hammer the living hell out of the download server lol. have it download like 10 copies at once, then delete it, then download again, like 100 times in a row.
lets just see how good their network is

I think that every good browser should have one process per window.
Then, if you have 2 windows with 10 tabs each, they will not be sharing the same thread (think something like 3 out of those 20 tabs being heavy flash based sites)

hmm, guys, I think this link has nothing to do with the download of Chrome, the only links to check are:

    http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/...n-browser.html
    for updates etc...

    and: http://gears.google.com/chrome
for the download itself, when it's there. At the moment it redirects to www.google.com until Chrome is made availlable

the count down on the other site is BS I believe. Already believed it before the time delay increased. The site is not mentioned anywhere @ Google.
If anyone found that link (freechromethemes.com) on an official Google web page page, thanks for sharing

Posting using Google Chrome, fast scroll doesn't work, though... i am missing the spell check i usually use with Firefox...

I installed the portuguese version of chrome, maybe it only has one dictionary...

This is the second web page I opened with it seems quite fast.

Using it now, too. It's fast, but let's try around with different sites...

Edit: Already missing ABP functionality on some sites.

It seems to be compatible with more sites, ie it can correctly render the pages in MSNBC which previously only IE could do (funny how that is ).

The internals are probably great, but the minimalistic interface leaves a lot to be desired. I'm really missing Firefox's forward/backwards drop down button that displays the history of a tab, putting downloads in a tab is just plain stupid, and the bookmarks system needs to be reworked.

yap, it's fast, but i think it's not ready yet to make me put firefox on a shelve.

you can't move selected test, you can't use central mouse button to scroll through pages, i have to find more flaws, i am reporting them btw

If you hold the back-button a dropdown menu will appear with the history.

Now you know how a opera user feels likes when using Firefox.

But in only one direction, it needs to be unified like Firefox, not separate like ancient IE6.

You also need to be able to pause/restore/retry downloads and the download manager should have it's own window since it is too easy to loose in the sea of tabs and when you close the main window all your downloads go poof.

    Nice browser. But lacks features.

I will stick with Avant for now.

Is the source code available yet?
