Chrome's implementation is much worse. You can can't see all history at once, you can only see backwards by pressing and holding the back button, forwards by pressing and holding the forward button. Worse yet, it takes about a second for the history to appear in chrome while pressing the "recent pages" button in Firefox is instantaneous.
hit the wrench and click history, it gives you a complete list with times and dates, all chronologically ordered of course. Not only that,but you can search through your history using a (get this) Google-like application.
