well, it looks like i am able to run my 9650 up to 495 FSB with a little tweaking!
currently on 8.5x which is 4216 mhz.
running Wprime at PL=11 since that is the PL number which makes Super PI 32M complete...at PL=9, it won't complete 32M so i jumped right to PL=11...i will eventually try PL=10...i will set that from the bios.
i did have to set MCH GTLREF to 64%...that looks like the Quad magic number once you go above a certain FSB
EDIT:...i am using the same PC6400 memory which i used with the E8500 and the PL was "9"....so it looks like the the dual L2 and 4 cores just puts more stress on working cache and system memory.

Hey, could you run the WPrime 32M and the 1024M soon as you can? I want to track that number as you change your setup. Could be more valuable than regular prime because we can track all 4 cores. 4ghz a breeze? Dang, I'm jealous!
