all board volts set to min including 1.1vtt, 1.325 bios LLC OFF, cpu features all off, chip hit 60c and idles 27/29 .....

500x9 would be complete orgasm, this is the chip that will make me jump to WC, who wants to help me with parts ?

OK, 4.5 ain't gonna happen for me without moving my fans up from silent on my TRUE. 4.4 is solid at 1.328V CPUZ with silent fans. Good enough.

The jump to 4.5 was taking more than 1.425V!! No way I'd run that 24/7.

Mine has been the same. 4.45 Prime stable at 1.382 actual. I have'nt found the secret for Prime stable above that yet. Bench stable up to 4.7 at above 1.425v in bios works, still playing with it. Finally broke the 10sec barrier in SuperPi, which was cool

Sorry to rain on your parade but CPU-Z reports the wrong Vcore on your board, approx. 0.09V too low.
Look at Asus probe, it's reporting right.

Still a nice overclock though.

Right now mine is running Orthos small ftt's at priority 1 at 4.3GHz with just 1.208V, i hope it will last, gonna let it run for at least an hour.

If it will do that it will be my 24/7 setting.

I found that instead of erroring out, my rig seems to have a habit of bluescreening instead but that could be due to too low V-northbridge or too low Vtt, both were at just 1.12V.

Still investigating.

Right now i'm real busy to find out how to stabilize a decent overclock on this board.
I'm really struggling to dig all those new bios settings this board has.

Flashing from 0605 to 1201 gave me even more options, lol.

I already have a 4.9GHz SuperPi 1M screen but i stopped trying.

Booting at 5GHz into windows (or trying to) borked my windows really bad.

I haven't installed set fsb yet, i'm gonna need it as booting at 5GHz was a no-go.

5.08Ghz @ 1.544v (load) is max for SuperPi 1M

Seems mine is stable at 4.3GHz with just 1.208V, pretty pleased with that.
I think 4.5GHz with <1.3V is possible as well, will try later.

On my board (Striker II Formula, 780i chipset) Clockgen works flawlessly

q820a405 from newegg. pack date 7/17/08. at default voltage it will do 4ghz, idle temps around 42c, load around 53c. at this vcore(1.26v) the second core fails prime95 instantly, which is ok because the load temps are passing 75c at that point anyway, so i cancel it. tried my regular xigmatek hs/f then an ultima90, both had great contact. heatsinks are very warm at idle.
