note 2: the screws are designed with a stop so that they bottom out a few tenths above the motherboard. therefore they should be fastened all the way down. spring tension is quite firm, reason why we use this large thumb nuts to ease the fastening process.

please make sure you bottom out the screws, or you will lose some perf.
Same as the D-Tek pro mount, which require to bottom out the screws to the backplate stop for best performance. This also help with mounting consistency.
