As already mentioned on previous pages. All the items will be available soon - globally![]()
Soon. I've been waiting months for this.![]()
you are not the only one - I always liked the murderbox but never would have been able to get it down here in Aus without paying a obcene amount in shipping - now with murdermod all those worries are now gone (well almost - checks the site to see if it has changed....)
It cannot be long now!
I'm sorry for the delay guys - we just want everything to be right. We really appreciate your patience.
We're in the home stretch now - almost there!
Couple of quick snaps of two of the backplates we'll be offering. The wide shot is an inverted ATX w/cooling cutouts and the closeup is standard ATX...
The hand model we lined up fell through...![]()
Mmm brushed alu, yummy
C'mon c'mon, faster!![]()

Everything used to make a murderbox TJ07 will be available - midplate and all.
Your powder coating question is an interesting idea I hadn't thought about - Since we'll be powder coating parts for those choosing a fully modded case, there's no reason we couldn't also shoot ppl's parts... Ideally we'd receive your stuff and then ship them back with the parts you'd ordered... hmm... good idea! I'll have to discuss this with Nils and report back.![]()

ePOWER EP-2000P10-T3 REVIEW at www.newegg.com
Pros: Powering my computer along with my air conditioner and my refrigerator, and I used it to jump start my truck once.
Cons: The only problem was the FBI at my door saying something about knocking out power for the east coast...not sure what thats about.
these are an absolute must for any TJ07 owner - I'm down for one!

Charles, how will the mobo be attached to that plate?
It won't be attached to the board, have a look at #604:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=604
the plate will be mounted to the back, the mobo will be mounted to the "stock" mobo-tray...
Well, that's what I think...^^
Will you be offering any of the related but not quite murdermod branded bits:
MDPC Sleeving etc?
Are you taking any Pre-Orders ? Would give you an indication of the level of interest in these parts - which I'm sure will be huge.
Just hope the stocks don't run out before I get mine,I foresee these flying out the door as soon as they are released.
Here you can buy mdpc sleeving

Hey Hiiyah777,
we already thought about that, since this material is different than the "normal" materials you can buy everywhere, because the diameters are just "right". The 4,4mm sleeving adds a nicer look (that's why the Germans freak out about it) to the individual sleeved cables than the common 3,2mm / 6,4mm materials. Also I am very proud about the SATA-sleevings, because they exactly match the diameter of ~8mm SATA-II cables. It makes a big difference compared to 9,5mm or 10,2mm sleeves on SATA once you bend the cable. The bigger ones get wide ... the exact one stays on the cable-shape like a charme.
The only challenge might be the pricing, since I have to make a big shipment to Charles / Canada, because this stuff is made in Germany (on order = huge quantities). If we could stay below or equalize the price of CleanCut plus 3:1 Shrinks, we can make it available in Americas - we just want to stick to reasonable pricing with whatever we do - even that we would have something unique (at least that's what I know) over there in Can / USA.
This mdpc-x thing was just created to make my life easier, since I got so many private-requests. That is why it was never promoted by me in any way
I will discuss the option of a murdermod-sleeving-cable-management-kit with Charles tonight.

- BFG Tech 9800GTX(stock cooling for now)
- 2 - 250GB Seagate SATA
i think emoners means how will the new back plate be held to the board tray. you would drill out the rivets on the stock back plate and could use screws thru the holes in the new plate or put in your own rivets. rivets would be better cause it will hold well, if you use screws you may have to put nuts on or use screws bigger than the hold diameter and it should thread thru the plate.
i plan to get one of the inverted back plates at some point and will try using screws, imo, hex head cap screws would look slick. i'd try 1/4 inch length and order a pack from mcmaster.
Charles, when the parts become available will they be powdercoated or will that be an option?

Thanks for the comments guys.
Just as GrossmeisterB and 64dragon have said; you drill out 8 rivets and discard the supplied backplate (or you could use it as the front of a two-story birdhouse. The two 92mm fan holes would make excellent doorways). The new murderMod backplates have holes that line up with the holes in the motherboard tray bracket. Black rivets will come with the backplate and you line 'em up and pop 'em in.
The website will have detailed installation instructions for all the parts we'll be offering... with glossy full color pics.
Yes... right down to the black oxide screws.
No pre-orders I'm afraid. Until we got everything sorted to our satisfaction, we didn't want to take anyone's money. Once the process is up and running, turn around should be good. If there are items that are more popular than we predict, we'll just have to work harder to ensure inventory is available.
This is a question we've been wrestling with. Here's the problem; if we powder coat backplates, there's no way they will match whatever "black" you use for your existing internals. One thing I've learned in the past year is just how many shades or black there are - not to mention finishes. It's best to have everything you plan to have black painted together at the same time. We'll offer the murderMod TJ07 case powder coated but at this time, I'm thinking we'll only offer the individual parts in raw, brushed aluminum - ready for powder coating, anodizing, spray painting or crayons.
BlueAqua brought up a good point last week when he asked if we'd paint ppl's case parts for them. This could work - we just need to sort out some logistics. At least then you'd get all your innards matching.
I was hoping to take some pics of more of the items we'll be offering but alas, my light source has chosen not to cooperate. Perhaps Sunday will live up to it's name.
Cheers All.![]()
Really appreciate all the updates!
