Amd Nvidia/Ati -3dmark06 scorebord revisted

The way the new 4850/4870 scale and with the likes of 4870x2 ..

20K should be the New High to hit with 3.4- 3.5ghz Phenoms using 4870 and 4870x2 ..

Its funny how it takes some tweaking but with lower speeds than INTEL the AMD platforms just Play butter smooth compared to a Intel @ even 4ghz...


Speaking of tweaking,,

So after numerouse driver changes and disabling CCC overclocking and updating AMDGPU TOOL to work with out crashing and then renaming the DLL in 3dmark06 ( BlackscreenBug) im testing 800/1200 I can go Higher but the Drivers will act up with AMDGPUtool + CCC on my system ( Unless i FLASHING A BIOS.)


OK my final run , this card is going in my DADS first HTPC so i dont want to MAX it

NOTE:
8.7/8.7beta would not Oc worth beans on 4850 while using AMD GPU clocktool 9.8 and CCC,,Must have overclocking disabled in all CCC or it will set only max OC with a Sapphire 4850

P.S MAX ,, maybe look into 790FX with new 750chipset? AMD/ATI combo seems to clock better ATM than AMD/Nvidia...Seems the 4800's scale better even with borked drivers
