First, George is a very busy man. He's got a business to take care of, so keep that in mind when asking about updates every week. If he would've had the time to complete this monster yet, I'm sure he would've done so.

Second, this PSU isn't only about raw power. It's about the power quality. This thing is going to be a linear design, if I remember correctly. That means that it will be quite inefficient on the one hand, but on the other hand (and that's what it's all about here) the delievered power will be cleaner than with any other PSU. It's ripple should be nearly unmatchable.
If it takes another 5 years for its completion, I don't care. This thing will be unique even then. And you sure won't need more power than this thing is going to be capeable of delievering, even in 5 years.
