    Sorry but not exact

So please next time give the credits correctly.

    Have fun
I am very sorry you feel cheated out of credit here but I was not aware of you or your earlier 965 skin & .ini. We were however talking about the skin not the whole thing including the .ini you made. To the best of my knowledge DJSUB made the skin background haoster was referring to.

I re-made & tidied up my .ini in English, altered fonts, spacing & text colour so my skin & .ini are not really exactly like your original 2 years ago. I would however like to say thanks to you for it anyway as without your work we may not of had such a nice skin/.ini

The only thing the two different versions have in common other then being Smart Guardian is the background being black. Give it a rest. Both look good but there's nothing Earth shattering here. A 6 year old could do up one of these skins. A sad situation if this is such a priority of one's life.
Well, no flame here but latins says "reddite quae sunt Caesaris, Caesari et quae sunt" means give to Caesar what is his (this a quote, im not compare myself to Gaius Julius Caesar )

Customizing SG is not simply change skin, is a work to change the whole ini, line after line to adjust the right alignment.

And if you open the ini file whit notepad you can see my notes in italian language.

Not a epic work but it takes time. My time in this case. I have shared mi work for all and i have simply request to give the credits correctly. Not for glory, for polite attitude.

So as i say no flame peace&love

Sorry for my maccheroni english, now i return back into the goddamn walls.

    LanParty P35-t2r BIOS misread ?

searched forums and google with no luck. maybe one of you can point me in the right direction. in the bios i set the RAM voltage at the top whereas the bottom values are different on subsequent reboots. i had the top set to 1.904v and the bottom gave the values of 1.85v, 1.87 and 1.89 on subsequent reboots. everest gave the same volts all but once. should i worry about this ? have you guys encountered the same ? does it really keep the same volts even with the misreads ?

    thanks in advance

The VDIMM you set in BIOS is dead on, you set 2.12v and its 2.120v when you measure with multimeter. Confirmed by me and Praz. The BIOS voltage _settings_ are very accurate.

No problem my friend . You respect me I respect you. I just measured few voltages and got interesting results, it's either the new 3/17 BIOS or I used I different ground spot before. I couldn't replicate the results that I used to get before.

    DMM = Digital Multimeter

    Prime 95 Blend
BIOS setting | Idle DMM | Load DMM
    CPU PLL: 1.55v, 1.544v, 1.543v
    CPU VTT: 1.58v, 1.557v, 1.561v
    vDIMM: 2.12v, 2.07v, 2.08v
    vDIMM: 2.19v, 2.15v, 2.14v
    vDIMM: 2.23v, 2.19v, 2,19v
    vNB: 1.65v, 1.633v, 1.626v

    Prime95 Small FFTs
BIOS setting | Idle DMM | Load DMM
    CPU VTT: 1.60v, 1.584v, 1.586v
    CPU VTT: 1.58v, 1.557v, 1.559v

I will try few others. But it looks interesting, last time I measured the vDIMM was dead on, Praz also got the same result.

No, actually, that one is rather stable and bug-free.

I switched over from the x48 to the LT P35 T2R and have my E8400 at 4300, same clock as the x48, same voltage, yada yada. Have not tried Max FSB yet tho.

With the E8500 on board, mine runs 24/7 at 500x9.5(4.75ghz). Maximum fsb i have reached is 586(suicide shot). So the board is very very good with 45nm dual cores. I am looking to move to the E8600 when it's released in the UK as well, you never know, it might even turn into my first 5ghz 24/7 clock

Could be the BIOS version. The most accurate means of measurement is to reference the same ground plane as the circuit being measured. This at times can prove difficult though. So pick a spot on the board to use as a ground reference for all voltage measurements. Form this point make voltage measurements at other ground points on the board to insure a reading of zero volts. It's best not to use a power supply point as ground.

Thanks Praz, this time I used the ground spots on the mobo, or the negative side of the missing caps adjacent to your measuring points. So the values must be correct.

Anyone tried clocking a P4 on this board? At stock settings with a vcore only bump, I'm getting shutdown as bios temps rise up. I tried disabling all pwr mgmt features and also turned off automatic shutdown and lowered the read temp by 15c. I was able to get it up past 4ghz, but with no stability, and it seemed to just heat up and fail.

I guess they really are PresHOTs

I'm just hoping someone who's clocked one of these on a P35 and knows a workaround. Or should I just make it really cold and all is gravy? BTW - This will be benched and that's it. I just want to get some tweaking practice before the session.

Never mind, I had a bad mount (which frankly stumped me more than most problems). P4 clocks great on this board and 3/17 bios. Easy 4.5ghz on air and top 5 1m for that chip lol.

Anyone using a OCZ Core SSD with this board? I just got one and I can't boot from it. Might be a bad disk.

Got a question, running a Q9XX0 chip and when I set Vtt and Vcore in bios 05/21/08 my settings always read a bit higher than the actual set voltage in bios, ie; if I set 1.2650v for the cpu I get 1.29v bios and 1.31v SG. Vtt, 1.26v set, 1.29v bios. Anyone having thrown a meter on the board running this bios that confirm or give any insight into this?

I am getting a bit too old to be trying to take measurements on the board with a dmm, as I would between my bad eyes and not so steady hands blow the darn thing up.
    Thanks.
