OP, I would take the kit back, but on the other hand you can only know their not micron if you removed the hs ( like you did ) and that afaik voids their warranty?
Well I just sent a few mails to A-DATA Europe and Taiwan HQ, but probably wont get a reply
I'll see how they run anyway, just wanted to point out they are not what was advertised.
As in the last picture you can see only very little of the thermal tape was actually touching the ICs, so it kinda "fell" open... I should be able to get a refund on that point alone!

And I didn't. And not everyone visits the A-Data forum, didn't even know one existed. Outdated product page argument is just laughable.. every company can use that excuse to sell whatever they want then. So as far as I'm concerned the product was not as advertised.
